Endorfy Solum 2 USB microphones start at €59.90

Endorfy has announced the Solum 2 series, a family of USB condenser microphones for gamers and content creators who want better voice quality on a modest budget. The range has three models: Solum 2 Core at €59.90, Solum 2 at €69.90 and Solum 2 Pro at €82.90. All three come with a two-year warranty. The company says it is aiming for a balance between budget and premium brands.

Shared features

Every model uses a condenser capsule with a cardioid pickup pattern, intended to focus on the speaker and reduce the room around them, and every model records at 24-bit resolution. To keep unwanted noise away from the capsule, Endorfy uses three layers of protection: a metal pop filter at the front, a custom shock mount and an internal foam filter. The company recommends speaking from 10 to 25 cm in front of the mic for the clearest result.

A mute button sits on top of each microphone, and a small LED on the front shows whether it is live or muted. No software, drivers or tuning are required: the mics are plug-and-play over USB. Supported platforms include Windows, macOS, Android and iOS, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, plus phones and tablets that support USB-C OTG.

How the three models differ

  • Solum 2 Core (€59.90): sample rate up to 96 kHz, no control knob and no RGB lighting.
  • Solum 2 (€69.90): also up to 96 kHz, with a control knob on the underside for volume and sensitivity.
  • Solum 2 Pro (€82.90): sample rate up to 192 kHz, a touch-sensitive knob and a 3.5mm jack for zero-latency voice monitoring.

The step from Core to the standard model therefore adds physical level control, while the Pro version adds a higher sample rate and headphone monitoring on the microphone itself.
