DJI Mic 3 Firmware Adds a Lossless Audio Indicator
DJI has issued a new firmware release, version v02.00.08.10, for the transmitters and receiver of its Mic 3 wireless microphone system. The update is free and can be installed through the devices themselves or through the DJI Mimo app. It arrived at the end of December 2025, a few months after the Mic 3 went on sale.
What the update changes
The most visible addition is a status icon that shows when the system is recording Lossless Audio, so users can confirm the highest-quality mode is active. DJI has also widened what the Mimo app can control while the receiver is mounted on a camera hot shoe, letting users change settings and levels without taking the receiver off.
- The receiver now turns itself off if no transmitter has been connected for more than 30 minutes.
- The transmitter LED can be switched off under TX Settings, LED Brightness, to avoid light during a take.
- A bug that occasionally dropped transmitter audio data during long recordings has been fixed.
- Copying files from the system to a Mac has been improved.

A one-transmitter configuration was listed at $219.
