Razer Seiren V3 Chroma 32-Bit DSP adds onboard mic processing

Razer announced the Seiren V3 Chroma 32-Bit DSP on July 21, 2026. It is an updated version of the company's RGB-lit USB microphone that brings over the hardware processing first used in the Seiren V3 Pro, so audio is treated inside the mic before it reaches the computer.

Processing on the microphone

A dedicated onboard DSP runs at 24-bit or 32-bit depth with 48 kHz or 96 kHz sample rates. Razer says the extra headroom lets the mic handle sudden loud reactions and changing distances from the capsule in real time, cutting down on clipping and distortion without drawing on the PC's processor. On top of that, the mic carries the same automated features as the Seiren V3 Pro: AI noise reduction, automatic EQ, compression and limiting. These are designed to reduce sounds such as PC fans and room reflections.

Capsule and controls

The microphone uses a 16mm condenser capsule with a supercardioid pattern, which narrows pickup to the front and rejects off-axis noise such as mechanical keyboards and mouse clicks; Razer pitches this for rooms without acoustic treatment. A tap-to-mute sensor sits on top. A single tap mutes the mic, while double and triple taps can be assigned in Razer Synapse to cycle lighting effects, toggle the limiter or change stream audio settings.

  • Stream-reactive Razer Chroma RGB, configurable in Synapse and the Streamer Companion App
  • Lighting reactions can be tied to chat emotes, alerts, other audience actions and supported game events
  • USB-C to USB-A connection with no external drivers needed
  • Works out of the box with Discord and OBS Studio
  • Volume mixing, sample rate changes and command mapping in Synapse

Addie Tan, global head of Razer's lifestyle division, said that because the 32-bit DSP processes audio inside the microphone, creators get broadcast-ready sound without interfaces or tuning. Razer did not include pricing in its announcement.
