The t-bone Launches Free 300 Wireless Handheld and Bodypack Systems

The t-bone, the audio brand owned by German retailer Thomann, has added a new wireless microphone line called Free 300. The range is offered in two forms: handheld microphone systems and bodypack systems. The two models named in the announcement are the HT 823 and the HT 548. In its statement, the German company presented the line as a way for performers to move freely on stage without cables that tangle or that people can trip over.

Channels and frequencies

Both systems come with three pre-programmed frequency groups, and each group holds ten channels. With this setup, up to six systems can work at the same time, which allows several singers or band members to use wireless microphones on one stage. The brand describes the HT 823 as a licence-free system intended for presenters and performers.

Displays and operation

Each model has a high-contrast LCD screen that shows the selected frequency, channel and battery level, so the status can be read on a dark stage. The receiver can work with either a handheld transmitter or a pocket transmitter, but not with both at the same time.
