Sennheiser moves its US headquarters from Connecticut to Nashville

Sennheiser is leaving its long-time U.S. base in Old Lyme, Connecticut, and moving its American headquarters to Nashville, Tennessee. The plan was announced in early February 2026, and the company expects the relocation to be completed by the middle of the year.

Why Nashville

The company pointed to Nashville's music and entertainment industry and its business environment as the main reasons, and described the city as a fitting base for its next phase of growth. The Connecticut site was within easy reach of New York City, where the company has for many years run a sizeable wireless audio business supplying Broadway shows and theaters.

The two co-CEOs both commented on the decision. Daniel Sennheiser called it a choice that is "both a strategic and a cultural decision" and said the city's business climate and its ties to sound and music match the company's mission. Dr. Andreas Sennheiser said the company wants to build on the city's momentum and work more closely with the producers, engineers, artists and other creatives who are based there.

A shared campus for audio companies

The new office will be located inside Rock Nashville, a recently built rehearsal and production complex of 610,000 square feet. It is jointly owned by Clair Global and Soundcheck Studios, and with the move Sennheiser joins other audio suppliers already based on the campus.

Rock Nashville already houses offices and facilities of several pro-audio companies. One of them is Shure, which has space on the campus while keeping its corporate headquarters in Niles, Illinois, a suburb of Chicago.
