Hollyland LARK M3: four transmitters, four tracks, AI noise control

Hollyland has started shipping the LARK M3, a 2.4 GHz wireless microphone system that can grow from a simple two-mic kit to larger setups. Kits combine up to four transmitters with two receivers, or two transmitters with four receivers.

Recording options

On iOS devices the LARK M3 records at up to 48 kHz in 32-bit float. On Android it records in 24-bit. With the USB-C receiver connected to a computer or phone and compatible software, it captures four isolated tracks. Mono and stereo modes are available for simpler jobs.

When several receivers are used, the first one connected becomes the primary. It controls the system and shows live transmitter status. The other receivers can see transmitter status but cannot change settings.

Transmitters and AI noise cancellation

  • Weight: 9 g per transmitter, with a round, button-sized body that clips on or mounts magnetically.
  • Audio: 70 dB signal-to-noise ratio and 125 dB maximum SPL.
  • AI noise cancellation for both sudden and constant background sounds, at 10, 15 or 20 dB.
  • Auto-Limit clip protection to keep loud passages under control.
  • One-tap vocal enhancement with de-essing and eight vocal presets, adjustable per transmitter in the app.

Hollyland says its HDT wireless technology moves data 50% faster. The claimed range is up to 1,000 feet (304.8 m) in open space, and an interference-resistant circuit helps in crowded RF environments.

Controls and power

The receiver offers six gain levels through the app. Transmitters can be muted with their own buttons, or one by one or all at once in the app. A triple press on a transmitter starts recording. Transmitters run for up to 9 hours, receivers for up to 8, and the charging case holds enough for two complete recharges. Continuous USB-C power is supported as well, along with Apple MFi certification and playback without unplugging.

Prices

  • 2 TX + 1 USB RX: $99.
  • 2 TX + USB RX + camera RX: $119.
  • 2 TX + 4 USB RX: $179.
  • 4 TX + USB RX + camera RX: $179.
