Hollyland LARK A2: budget wireless mic with three AI noise levels

Hollyland has added the LARK A2 to its range of wireless microphones. It is a low-cost system for content creators, built to be clipped on and used quickly for vlogs, live streams and short videos. The transmitter weighs 8.5 g, and the set comes pre-paired out of the box. Hollyland claims a line-of-sight range of up to 200 m.

Sound processing

  • Three levels of AI noise cancellation, reducing noise by up to 20 dB according to Hollyland.
  • Up to six gain steps when using the HollyAudio app.
  • AI tuning in the app that can automatically adjust EQ, compression and de-essing.

Battery and charging

Each mic records for up to 7 hours continuously. Turning on AI power saving stretches that to up to 9 hours. With the charging case, total battery life reaches 42 hours. Five minutes of USB-C charging gives the mic one hour of use, and ten minutes of charging the case provides the same hour. When idle, the system drops into a low-power state and wakes instantly when needed.

Other features

  • Separate mute buttons on the transmitter and receiver.
  • Pass-through charging.
  • MFi-certified compatibility.
  • Plug-free playback.

Voice control for AI tools

Hollyland also pitches the LARK A2 as a voice interface for working with AI. Users can speak to AI tools, set custom shortcuts in Web Control, trigger commands with a single press and send prompts without typing. The company mentions so-called vibe coding and multi-agent workflows, and says the mic can pick up quiet, low-volume speech from a distance in an office.

Kits

The LARK A2 comes in three kits: DUO, MINI DUO and SOLO.
