HyperX SoloCast 2 Pro USB mic set for September at $89.99
HyperX used its Level Awakening 2026 event to announce the SoloCast 2 Pro, a compact USB microphone priced at $89.99. The mic was one of five products shown at the event, which also introduced the company's first open-back gaming headset and a new line of lightweight mice.
SoloCast 2 Pro
The SoloCast 2 Pro uses two condenser capsules rather than one. It has built-in vibration dampening to limit noise from the desk, a pop filter to soften hard consonants, and monitoring features for listening to the mic in real time. Additional settings are available through HyperX's NGENUITY software. HyperX is targeting players and creators who want a small USB mic for gaming, voice chat, streaming and recording.
The rest of the lineup
The Cloud Alpha Air is HyperX's first open-back gaming headset. Open-back designs are typically chosen for a wider soundstage and more natural presentation, and HyperX says its new Bass Tube technology is meant to keep low frequencies strong, a common weak point of the format. The company presents it as an addition to its closed-back Cloud models rather than a replacement.
The Pulsefire Haste 3 mouse series has three models. The flagship Haste 3 Pro has a 47-gram carbon-infused shell and the new HyperX Performance Sensor, rated at up to 42,000 DPI, 800 IPS and 70G acceleration, with up to 150 hours of battery at 1K polling or 35 hours at 8K.
