Corsair VOXARA: first premium USB condenser mic from Corsair
Corsair announced VOXARA on September 17, 2026, calling it the company's first premium USB condenser microphone for gaming. It combines Corsair-built hardware with Elgato's Wave Link software, and it is already on sale in black or white from Corsair's online store and authorised retailers. The press release did not include a price, which has been reported at $199.99. A two-year warranty applies.
Capsule and recording
The mic uses a 25mm condenser capsule, larger than the standard size, which Corsair says captures more warmth and detail. It records in 32-bit audio for wide dynamic range and extra headroom against clipping, at a sample rate of 192 kHz. A cardioid pattern focuses on the speaker and reduces sound from the sides and rear, while a shock mount and a pop filter, both built into the body, deal with desk vibrations, handling noise and plosives.
Controls and software
An OLED screen on the body shows headset volume, mic gain, mix balance and mute status, and a multi-function scroll wheel changes these values. A tap-to-mute sensor silences the mic with one touch and gives visual confirmation.
VOXARA works with Elgato Wave Link 3.0, where mic, game, music and chat can be split into separate channels and mixed independently, with VST and AU plugins, effects and EQ presets available from Elgato Marketplace. Wave Link also includes Voice Focus, a feature powered by ai|coustics that removes background noise, room echo and reverb in real time without a separate download.
- Customisable RGB with multi-colour, static and live level-meter modes
- Lighting control in Wave Link or sync with iCUE devices through iCUE Murals (beta)
- Detachable aluminium desk stand plus adapters for boom arms
- Braided USB-C cable; plug-and-play on Windows and macOS
- Audio support for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch and Switch 2
Tobias Brinkmann, Corsair's head of gaming, said the mic reflects the company's push to connect products across the Corsair family, including Elgato.
