Boya Notra Nano: a 24 g wearable AI recorder for meetings and calls

Boya has added the Notra Nano to its range of AI note takers. It is a small wearable recorder for meetings, classes and calls, priced at $104.

Size and wearing options

The Notra Nano measures 31 x 34 x 13.7 mm and weighs 24 g. It can be worn three ways: on a lanyard, on a wristband or with a magnetic attachment.

Microphone and recording modes

The recorder uses a MEMS microphone with AI noise cancellation. Boya claims clear pickup up to 5 metres away. Two recording modes are available, and automatic scene detection chooses between them:

• Ambient Recording for in-person meetings and classes;
• Bluetooth Recording for wireless phone calls or online lectures heard through paired earbuds.

In Bluetooth mode, the recorder works together with the user's earbuds, so the audio of calls and online sessions is captured without a cable. While recording, users can add images, typed notes and timestamped highlights.

Transcription and AI tools

• Transcription in more than 140 languages with automatic speaker labels, using AI models including ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Grok.
• More than 60 templates that turn recordings into formats such as executive meeting summaries, action-item lists and study notes for classes.
• An Ask AI function that searches saved recordings for key takeaways, quotes or short answers.

The Boya OS app and web platform sync across devices. Exports cover audio (MP3, WAV), text (DOCX, PDF, TXT, Markdown, SRT) and mind maps as JPEG images.

Plans

Transcription comes in three tiers. The free Starter plan gives new users 600 minutes a month. Pro and Ultimate are paid monthly subscriptions.
